Yesterday we published about an accidental announcement made by Microsoft and stated as its release date Windows 10 Anniversary Update τη 2η μέρα του Αυγούστου.
The company released a full press release a few minutes ago, and officially confirms the date we announced yesterday.
Microsoft says there are 350 to date millions devices running Windows 10, and that "its customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of Windows."
It recommends those who do not have the new OS upgrade their systems before 29 July to take advantage of the free upgrade offer from Windows 7 and 8.1.
The company then details some of the improvements coming in the Anniversary Update, highlighting Cortana's new features and Microsoft Edge.
The final version of the Window 10 Anniversary Update will be released first for Insiders, as the company wants to make sure everything works well before the update is released in general.
