ESET received the highest score (top score) in the latest AV-Test for the best antivirus software for Android. The independent testing organization AV-Test uses one of the largest collections of digital malware in the world to create a realistic environment for accurate testing.
In July 2020, the AV-Test organization evaluated 17 security products for cell phones Android, using their default settings and the latest versions of all products. 
The test focused on malware detection and product usability, including performance and number of false positives.
ESET Mobile Security (EMS) achieved top scores throughout the test series with a 6.0 / 6.0 Protection Score, a 6.0 / 6.0 Performance Score and a 6.0 / 6.0 Usability Score.
ESET Mobile Security for Android was also distinguished because it does not affect battery life and does not slow down the device. The key features of the solution mentioned in the test include:
• Application control: A feature that allows, denies, or restricts access to specific applications
• Block calls: Blocks calls from specific or unknown numbers
• Safe tour: Protection against malicious websites and / or phishing
