AV-TEST: Choosing the best security suite for Windows 10 is not an easy task, as you need to consider many different factors.
The price, whether it affects the performance of the system and obviously the efficiency of the suite are the three factors that the German independent testing company AV-TEST.
The company has just completed its latest tests in various security suites for Microsoft's latest operating system.

The winners are almost the same as ever:
Kaspersky Internet Security, McAfee Internet Security and VIPRE AdvancedSecurity managed to capture the maximum score (18 points), with 6 points for protection, 6 for performance and 6 in usability.
The applications of AhnLab, Avira, Bitdefender and Trend Micro were also tested by AV-TEST, although their rating was slightly reduced to 17,5 points.
The ugly surprise now comes from ESET's Internet Security, which has just scored 15 points. The lowest score was obtained from the performance test where it received only 4 points.
AV-TEST reported that to test the detection rates of each security product, it used totally new malware that circulated for only a few hours, and samples that were already known and created in the last two weeks. In performance tests, a number of features have been run along with suites, such as file copying, web browsing, downloading, booting and installing programs.
"A significantly higher system load was created by Comodo, K7 Computing, ESET and Panda Security. They received 4,5 to 3,5 points ", the company states.
As for false or false positives, the products of Avira, K7, Kaspersky, McAfee and Trend Micro are at the top with 0 to 3 false alarms during the testing, while Avira and Kaspersky have only one false positives.
The super duper software that Microsoft, Windows Defender and PC Pitstop want to pose between false and 25 false positives.
