Avira has one of the best known Free Antivirus for Windows on the market, and they just released their next one new edition of Avira Free Security Suite 2017.
The free application Avira Free Security Suite 2017, in addition to the free antivirus, also contains the following aids: Browser Safety, Phantom VPN and System Speedup.
We should mention that Avira Free Security Suite 2017 is not a typical security suite. Does not include a wall protectionor improved security tools.
But whatever the suite is, it includes a free antivirus and a very limited VPN software for those who are not very demanding.
Avira Phantom VPN only gives you 500 Megabytes free data per month. It's not much, but it can get you out of a mess if you want to connect somewhere with a different IP.
As for Avira System Speedup, what will be installed on your computer is a trial version of the application that will expire soon. Immediately after installation you will see a reminder that the software is in test version.
