Black Friday may not be a real shopping opportunity but due to the heavy advertising that takes place and the large number of sales shown, you may be tempted to reach into your pocket.
Since black Friday is an American trade tactic and in Greece the local market simply follows it in order to get a share of sales, there is a possibility that you will turn to the global online market, thinking that the discount rates are real.
Don't think you are the only one who has had this thought. And serious fraudsters are running to take advantage of the Black Friday opportunity. EclecticIQ analysts have uncovered a phishing campaign targeting e-commerce shoppers in Europe and the US looking for Black Friday discounts.
They estimate that behind all this is a scammer of Chinese origin targeting financial incentives called SilkSpecter. The campaign capitalizes on increased online shopping activity in November, the peak period for Black Friday sales.
SilkSpecter's phishing pages lured victims with a persuasive Black Friday sale theme, often promoting an “80% off” offer to lure shoppers into believing they had scored a great deal.

Some of them don't work anymore and some others have broken graphics. But the news is that you should beware because they are not the only ones out there, unless you are looking for trouble……
In general, DO NOT shop from sites that do not list a full address, instead of an email they have a form to send them a message and they don't even have a landline. Not to mention that as a trading company they should have made their tax information public.
And always read reviews before entering your details.
