Κατά τη διάρκεια του Mobile World Congress 2015 η BlackBerry αποκάλυψε ότι θα κυκλοφορήσει φέτος ένα νέο slider smartphone. 
Slider smartphones are not common these days, but the company is looking for something that will help it recover the interest of the buyers. The company has not revealed much about this device, but since then many images have been leaked out of the box.
The latest ones to show today show the slider mechanism of the BlackBerry Venice device.
Η νέα συσκευή, εκτός από το slider που την κάνει να ξεχωρίζει, θα κυκλοφορήσει και με λειτουργικό Android. Οι παρακάτω εικόνες ουσιαστικά παρουσιάζουν τη πρώτη συσκευή Android-powered της ΒlackBerry, που όπως έχει αφήσει η εταιρεία να εννοηθεί θα διαθέτει πολλές βελτιστοποιήσεις ασφαλείας εμπνευσμένες από το BB10.
According to recent leaks the device will have a curved screen 5,4-inch Quad HD and a full QWERTY keyboard that will pop out from under the screen.
As for the specifications: it will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM, it will have a camera 16 megapixel on the back with an optical stabilizer image, and will run on optimized Android Lollipop that will carry BlackBerry's security signature.
