With the Bleep we first dealt with it at the end of 2014, when it was released as a private beta. The first great feature of the Vleep app is that you do not have to sign up for it to start using it. All you have to do is enter a nickname that your friends and contacts will see on their contact bar and chat.
But you can add a phone number or e-mail, so your friends can find you more easily.

All Bleep installations use public and private keys, and offer options to add contacts that use public keys. So, to add a contact without revealing anything about yourself, you can simply add public key them to see the contact on your Bleep.
