The tablet is powered by the company's latest mobile operating system, Ubuntu Touch. The operating system allows conversion to a personal computer with the connection on an external LCD screen.
And thanks to the latest innovations applied by Canonical to the Ubuntu operating system for mobile devices, the new BQ Aquaris tablet M10 UE will provide users with a true tablet experience and a fully equipped desktop with with Ubuntu.
The BQ Aquaris M10 tablet has some unique features that are not available on existing Ubuntu mobile devices.
For example, users will be able to see two different applications on the same screen using the “side stage.” function.
The windows that apps appear in are intuitively optimized on the Ubuntu Touch mobile OS to take up the tablet screen space they need. In addition, the tablet will provide its users with smooth application management and multitasking, complete services with notifications on surface work, as well as quick access to the most used applications.
It also has a simple and intuitive file manager. Of course, users will have full access to all mobile OS applications that are already available in the Ubuntu Store, and access to the system without limitations for full root control.
