With the CanYouSeeMe website you can check which doors on your computer are open to the internet so you know if it is vulnerable or not.
The site CanYouSeeMe.org offers a free utility to remotely verify if a port on your computer is open or closed.
It is a useful testing tool for users who want to verify a port forwarding or check if a virtual server they have set up is running correctly and coming online or if a firewall or ISP is blocking certain ports.
It will also serve you to make sure that the ports used by remote management programs such as TeamViewer, Anydesk, RDM, etc. can and do communicate with the outside world.
The site once you log in will show you your IP and port 80 as a suggestion to check. You can only change the port and press the “Check Port” button to see the results. The IP of the photo is not mine but one shared by free VPN WindScribe which we presented earlier.
In the right column of the website you will see a list of the doors used by the most basic programs.
