Johnny Hughes has announced the availability of an update CentOS, a Linux distribution built from Red Hat source code Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
The new version is called CentOS 8.4.2105 and comes from RHEL 8.4:
"We are pleased to announce the general availability of the latest version of CentOS Linux 8. It is the current version for CentOS Linux 8 and is labeled 2105, which is derived from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 source code.
The updates that have been released concern all architectures.
We strongly recommend that each user install all updates to the existing one computer CentOS Linux 8 with the command 'dnf Update'.
This version adds the following new software versions to the module streams: Python 3.9, SWIG 4.0, Subversion 1.14, Redis 6, PostgreSQL 13, MariaDB 10.5.
Several rolling AppStream have been upgraded to newer versions: LLVM Toolset 11.0.0, Rust Toolset 1.49.0, Go Toolset 1.15.7. "
