If you are excited about live streaming apps like meerkat and Periscope, maybe you should check it out Chhirp for iOS. The application allows you to quickly post voice clips on Twitter.
It was released just a few days ago, and what it does and above is letting you record up to 12 seconds of audio from your device and share it with your friends directly on Twitter.
Your followers can then listen to the clip from the Chhirr app, Twitter or through it Internet. It supports Twitter cards, so Twitter can play on your timeline too.
The application can also reproduce sound loops and is very similar to Vine. In fact, it's just like Vine, but only for sound reproduction.
There is currently no option to delete Chhirs, according to TNW who tested the new app.
It seems to be a good idea especially for Twitter that has the limit of 140 characters per publication.
