A Chinese national, Huang Yu, 48, was sentenced to death by a court in his country for selling classified documents to strangers secret services foreign countries.
The news came from her Shanghai Daily which the bulletin refers to news of its Central Television China(CCTV).
Huang worked between 2002 and 2004 as a computer technician for a government research institute in China's Sichuan province, until he was fired due to poor performance work.
Following his sudden dismissal, Huang decided to contact a foreign intelligence agency via the Internet and offer the classified documents he obtained and had copies in his home.
Ο Chinese Huang he subsequently met with foreign agents over 21 times and handed over over 150.000 classified documents containing information about an encrypted system developed at the research institute he worked for, but also for the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as the country's military and economic activities.
Huang was arrested 2011. There are no details of the trial that has taken place, but not even if the death penalty has been executed or not.
Twenty-nine of Huang's former colleagues were also sentenced for the same reason, including his wife and his brother.
