Google today released Chrome 79 for all Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, Android and iOS platforms.
This release comes with several bug fixes as well as new features such as built-in support for the code checker access, a real-time blacklist for malicious sites through the Safe Browsing API, την κυκλοφορία της προστασίας Predicitive Phishing, το HTTPS για το “μεικτό περιεχόμενο”, και υποστήριξη για το tab freezing.
The new version except of all of the above brings a new user interface to the Chrome Sync Profile section and supports a back-forward caching mechanism in the flag chrome: // flags / # back-forward-cache).
Αξίζει να αναφέρουμε ότι ο έλεγχος των κωδικών πρόσβασης είναι μια ηλεκτρονική υπηρεσία μέσω της οποίας η Google ελέγχει όλους τους codeaccess logs synced with Chrome to see if they've been leaked in breaches of other services.
To date, control passwords was available as a separate Chrome extension or in a section on the Google Dashboard.
With the new Chrome 79 version released today, the utility ελέγχου κωδικών πρόσβασης ενσωματώθηκε στον Chrome. Για να το χρησιμοποιήσετε, θα πρέπει να συγχρονίσετε τους κωδικούς πρόσβασης του Chrome σε έναν account to Google.
Once activated, it will let you know which sites you were using online leaked passwords and will be prompted to change them.
Another important tool that this release brings and worth mentioning is the phishing prediction. or Predictive Phishing in English.
It started as an idea in 2017 and apparently ended today with the release of version 79. Predictive Phishing warns users when they want to enter passwords on phishing sites.
Until today the operation supported her detection phishing sites when entering credentials only from Google accounts and only when users used the sync feature in Chrome.
With Chrome 79, the warnings for Phishing will be available for all usernames and passwords stored on base δεδομένων κωδικών πρόσβασης του Chrome, ακόμα και αν ο χρήστης δεν uses the synchronization function.
