Chrome 87 enable the hidden PDF reader

Chrome 87 was released last week, with a new feature hidden behind a flag. The new Chrome has a PDF reader that you can turn on right away.

The PDF reader or the PDF viewer of Chrome has always been relatively simple, especially compared to others browser, such as Microsoft Edge. Chrome 87 features a redesigned interface for its built-in PDF reader to offer modern features that rival other browsers' implementations.

The redesigned Chrome PDF viewer is not yet available to everyone, but you can enable it by following these steps:

Open the inside Chrome: // flags
and search for the flag “PDF Viewer "
Click on “Default” () and select “Enabled”.

Google will release the new PDF reader feature in the coming weeks. But if you can't wait, you can follow the instructions above or try solutions, such as Microsoft Edge.
