Microsoft he said a new subscription it calls Copilot Pro. It offers AI-powered features similar to those available in Copilot Pro for Microsoft 365.
The Redmond company introduced Bing Chat about a year ago, before renaming it Copilot. The AI-chatbot, which was released as an assistant for web searches. Soon the chatbot was added to Skype and SwiftKey. Copilot eventually evolved into a desktop app released for Windows 11 and Windows 10. Microsoft is going all out to market the AI, along with a new keyboard design that replaces the menu key with a new Copilot.
Microsoft has added Copilot to Office, specifically for Microsoft Office 365 users, allowing them to use AI to create content or help with writing letters, drafts, notes, essays, summarizing content, coding and more from Office applications.
Copilot Pro now offers the same experience, but is designed for users who don't have an Office 365 subscription.
Don't have an Office 365 subscription? You can get Copilot Pro to get priority access to OpenAI's GPT-4 Turbo. The subscription allows users to access the new model even at peak times with faster performance. The Redmond-based company says it will soon add an option to switch between different language models.
Copilot Pro includes support for Image Creator (formerly Bing Image Creator) which you can use to create images with text commands. Microsoft says it's faster (than the free service) and supports 100 boosts per day with detailed image quality.
