AI is her digital assistant Microsoft, Cortana is now available on Skype as well, as of today company announcement.
Cortana on Skype can either chat with you, as you would any friend, or invite to talks to manage various tasks such as planning events, finding nearby restaurants or sharing movie reviews from IMDB.

Microsoft Digital Assistant will appear as a contact in every Skype user contact list. It will work just like it does on desktops, in one-on-one discussions (AI): Ask for things like directions or weather forecast and Cortana will give you answers via optical cards.
In addition to booking restaurants, Cortana on Skype will be able to provide suggested answers such as "I'm fine" when someone asks "How are you?" or with "Create a reminder" when you are planning something with your friends. Reminders will then be sent to other devices that you have authorized to use the Cortana digital assistant.
The Cortina at Skype or Whatsapp it will not work on voice calls or video-calls.
During the release of the digital assistant on Skype we will see many features that will look like its intelligent assistant M Facebook Messenger and will work in much the same ways that Google Assistant works in the lesser-known chat app Allo. In any case, the AI digital assistant will listen to the words used in your conversation to predict the needs of a user or group of users.
