OTE's transformation is entering a new period. In this context, Cosmote Telekom is being renamed Telekom, a development inextricably linked to the German group's strategy for a stronger and more unified presence of its subsidiaries in Europe.
“In 2025, we joined forces with Cosmote and Deutsche Telekom. This year, we are taking a step further by renaming Cosmote Telekom to Telekom, in order to leverage the potential of one of the world's leading brands and further consolidate our position as a member of a powerful group with a broad international footprint,” said OTE CEO Costas Nembis, announcing from the podium of the annual general meeting of shareholders the long-awaited renaming of Cosmote Telekom to Telekom.
