You should therefore be aware that Cosmote, during the term of your contract, may now proceed with an increase in the fixed amount, according to inflation levels. Valid from 19-05-2025.
No more fixed costs, and forget about what you knew... a floating contract for everyone with democratic procedures...
This will of course happen (if it hasn't already happened) to other telecommunications providers as well.
In any case, there will be timely information from the company before the increase.
The company says:
9.2α OTE may increase the price of the fixed asset paid by the Subscriber once per calendar year, with a maximum percentage equal to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) during the twelve-month period January-December (simple twelve-month change) of the previous calendar year, as announced by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (EL.STAT.) and with an amount that will not exceed €3 per connection.
Subscribers will be informed of the final amount of the adjustment of their fixed plan, at least one (1) month before its effective date, through the COSMOTE website, the printed or electronic bill, by text message (SMS) and through OTE's online applications for the management of their accounts.

I would like to ask one more thing. Cosmote does not accept the voucher as it upgrades all internet lines to 200mbps (FTTC) for free for 3 months. It also charges €50 for changing the connection. Are there others in a similar situation who are locked into a contract?
This is nothing compared to the festivities that the electricity providers have been preparing for us since August, and with RAEY all it can do is say that consumers were not properly informed, i.e., they should do it to us in more detail about the robbery that is coming.
Question: If I disagree with the increase, do I have the right to terminate, or am I obligated to end the contract???

What to stop? All providers have received approval from the government for this annual increase and good for growth.
