Creative thinking: an artistic approach to the universe

Science graduates, , engineering and mathematics are increasingly called upon to develop their creativity so that they can be truly innovative.

The curriculum at Abaarso συνδυάζει στοιχεία από το εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα της Σομαλίας και της Αμερικής. Είναι σχεδιασμένο με τέτοιον τρόπο, ώστε οι 224 μαθητές του να αποκτήσουν τις απαραίτητες δεξιότητες για την περιοχή τους, αλλά και για τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο. Τα βασικά μαθήματα που διδάσκονται είναι μαθηματικά, αγγλικά και λογική σκέψη. Η διδασκαλία συμπληρώνεται με αραβικές και ισλαμικές σπουδές.

This year for the first time a school student was admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In France a group of young researchers joined forces and their knowledge in mathematics, biology and other cognitive . A few months ago they decided to participate in a world science championship, organized by the famous MIT University in Boston.

Bringing the magic of the stars and planets to people is no easy task. When it is combined with and art the result can be amazing.

This is the view of the passionate astronomer and scientific visionary José Francisco Salgado at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.

One of his creations is KV 265, a non-profit , whose mission is to inspire appreciation and understanding of science through art.

Through ongoing artistic collaborations KV 265 presents scientific works that connect different things, such as , photography, music and dance.

In just 3 years, Salgado has organized 90 presentations in 14 countries and 5 continents, including Antarctica. They approached science and art in the presence of 150.000 viewers.
