Unbelievable fraud over the internet was denounced by a Haniotis consumer

"Beware of parrots on the internet" draws the… Union of Consumer Protection of Crete, after a consumer who fell "victim" of fraud when he tried to buy parrots online.


As the complainant complained: "Through the Internet I wanted to buy two parrots, I found some XXX (the name and details are not published) which assured me that their two had value was 1060 Euro. Because they were living organisms they could not be sent by cash, gave me a bank account, I deposited the money, and since then the traces of the commodity were lost. Following the above, the Consumers Consumers Association of Crete draws consumers' attention to their online purchases, addresses existing businesses, trying to cross-sell actual sales data.
