Event themed “crowdcollEKT| Participate, Create, Collaborate, Innovate" organized by the National Documentation Center and the company of open innovation Crowdpolicy on Monday, December 21 (10:00-14:00) at the National Research Foundation (L. Zervas Amphitheater, Vas. Konstantinou 48, Athens).
The first digital crowdsourcing, extroversion and interactivity platform will be presented at the event and will be used in a wealth of information and data from Libraries, Museums, Research Repositories, Universities, Municipalities, Regions, Public Administration and others.
Through crowdcollEKT (http://www.crowdcollekt.gr) provides for the establishment of an innovative and sustainable mechanism for participation, re-use and creative use of content. The Platform supports the enhancement of the quality of research and communication conducted in the academic and scientific field and the re-use of reputable digital content by wider categories of users.
crowdcollEKT provides users, through the online platform as well as related applications for cell phones (Android, IOS, Windows), four services, which in brief are:
- Single Integrated Search Service in the ECB's digital repositories for the general public (more than 150 accessible sourcescaseof new bases based on the needs of the body)
- Interactive Search and Bibliography for researchers and scientists.
- Personalized Search and Contribution of Digital Content based on the location / location of the user.
- Creation and Management of Digital Collections.
This platform is addressed to everyone. In the research and academic community, to students and additional content user groups such as students, tourists and professionals.
Special interconnection actions will be organized for the special groups, such as thematic games through gamification mechanism, scenarios for the development of ESF content services for local development through the use of scientific / cultural content, etc.
The program of the event includes the following speeches: Presentation of the crowdcollEKT platform, Open data and Open Collections – The contribution of crowdcollEKT and Searchculture, Steps and services of EKT for open knowledge and entrepreneurship, Innovation and entrepreneurship in Creative industry, Creative Collaborative Culture and Crowdfunding funding opportunities.
The crowdcollEKT platform was developed in the framework of the National Research and Technology / Social Networks - User-Generated Content Operation implemented by the National Documentation Center under the Digital Convergence and Hellenic Operational Program (NSRF) of the European Union - European Regional Development Fund.
