As we mentioned in the morning, the Cyanogen company decided to stop all its activities and services by the end of the year. Although the company promised that everyone would be able to download the old builds of its operating system, the CyanogenMod website has gone offline.

According to a publication in Reddit, LineageOS became forked by CyanogenMod's open source code.
The group promised to launch a new website, as it will give more information for the project tomorrow Tuesday December 27th, 2016. So although it looks like CyanogenMod has lost DNS on their domain, hopefully all content will be accessible via the LineageOS page a new site that will be officially launched tomorrow.
The LineageOS project plans to maintain the tradition of CyanogenMod by continuing it free development of a new CyanogenMod an open-source project for custom operating system Android.
However, LineageOS members point out: “It will take some time for us to grow healthy. Community organization and development structure is key. We will also need financial and development support. “
