France is faced with an "unprecedented" wave of cyber attacks after the recent three-day horror that left 20 dead.
About 19.000 websites have been hit so far by groups including "Islamic hackers", said the head of the service cyber securitys.
"We have not seen this before. This is the first time a country faces such a big wave, "said Admiral Arno Kustiger to the reporters. He gave the attacks to "more or less organized groups", among the known groups of "Islamists".
Attackers targeted a variety of websites, from military services to pizzerias. In most cases they followed the DoS (denial supply services), in which target computers are flooded with requests connections until they are shut down due to overload.
