From the Directorate for the Prosecution of Electronic Crime, targeted actions and investigations continue, in cooperation with foreign Authorities, to combat the pornography of minors in Internet
A 38-old native of Volos was arrested and a case filed against him for pornography of minors 
In the context of targeted actions and investigations, in cooperation with foreign authorities, the ministry of pornography on the internet was devised by the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, a case of minors pornography and a case file of a regular procedure involving another 38-year-old national from his region Volos.
In particular, the investigation of the case began after an online check on a peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing network, for possession and trading υλικού πορνογραφίας ανηλίκων, κατά τον οποίο πραγματοποιήθηκε καταγραφή των ηλεκτρονικών ιχνών των ατόμων που κατείχαν και διαμοίραζαν συγκεκριμένο αρχείο πορνογραφίας ανηλίκων. Από τον έλεγχο προέκυψαν επτά (7) ηλεκτρονικά ίχνη που ανήκουν σε χρήστες εντός της Ελληνικής Επικράτειας ( see below. the relevant Press Release from 18-06-2015 ).
The Directorate of Cybercrime Prosecution conducted a thorough digital investigation and analysis of the data and elements of the case, while an Order and a Board were issued by the competent Prosecution Authority, for the removal of the secrecy of the communications.
From the methodical police and digital investigation of the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office and the analysis of electronic traces, the managers of the investigated electronic traces were identified.
Police staged yesterday (20-06-2015) in the morning, a surprise investigation, in the presence of a Judicial Officer, at the home of one of the perpetrators, 38, a native of the country, in the city of Volos. From digital field research on the digital media of 38 chronology, hundreds of records of child pornography material were identified, an act for which he was arrested on the verge of self-help.
Two internal computer hard drives were found and seized within the framework of the investigation, which will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division of Northern Greece for laboratory examinations.
The 38man was arrested in the blueprint and the case file formed against him would be submitted appropriately.
