In an interactive teleconference with 600 schools, most of them in Attica, the "Cyberkid" application was presented, which is available for computers, but also smartphones, tablets, android και IOS. The briefing will continue in all the schools of the country in the near future, in the same way that until April all the pupils have been informed at the national level.
The Minister of Public Order and Protection of the Citizen, Mr. Vasilis Kikilias stated: "I am very happy to be with you today, and we all together welcome an innovative action designed by the Electronic Crime Prosecution and is about our Internet security.
What starts today: From now on, with the technology vehicle, all students have the opportunity to watch a series of presentations on safe Internet navigation at the same time. We want our children to exploit the potential of the internet and learn to be protected. We want our children to understand what virtual reality means, surf the Internet, and when such a process is safe. We want to know when they are at risk from pedophiles and villains, from blacksmiths, when to put limits on any form of Internet bullying. We learn not to "sting" the internet traps.
The internet is a wonderful world, it is a technological advancement and achievement that our children should not ignore. We want to be helped in every effort of young people".
