The new website of the Greek Police, www.cyberkid.gov.gr, is presented today – The day will be attended by more than 1.000 children of all school levels with the ultimate goal of informing them about the dangers hidden by Internet
Presentation of the new website of the Greek Police www.cyberkid.gov.gr the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, in the presence of the Minister of Public Order and Protection Mr. Nikos Dendia and the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Mr. Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos.
The conference, which is being held today at 10 this morning, will present the new website and the new section to be included in the Intercontinental Hotel, titled "Digital Alan".
Through this section, the digitization of sixteen traditional games (groan, chess, ladies etc.), which will be accessible to all visitors according to their age. The content of this websiteσελίδαs has an advisory nature for children and its presentation is made using modern technologies in three thematic sections: for children up to 8 years old, for children 8 – 12 years old, as well as for parents.
The workshop will be attended by more than 1.000 children at all levels of the school with the ultimate goal of informing them about the dangers of the internet, how to deal with the challenges of the digital world and exploiting the opportunities offered by new technologies.
