The Cybercrime Prosecution Division's CYBERKID application was awarded in Mobility Forums & Apps Awards 2015 with the Gold Award in the category "Best application in terms of social and economic development"
Cyberkid has been distinguished in the field of mobile "smart applications", helping to educate and raise awareness of child safety by 12 and their parents about Internet security.
The mobile application (application) CYBERKID of the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate of the Hellenic Police was awarded at the Mobility Forum & Apps Awards 2015 with the Gold Award in the category "Best Social and Economic Development" Development App).
The prize was received at the Divani Caravel Hotel in the afternoon 2 2015 Thursday, at the Divani Caravel Hotel, in the afternoon of the award ceremony of Major General Emmanuel Sfakianakis.
The Mobility Forum & Apps Awards 2015 is the largest biorganization απονομής βραβείων που αφορούν εφαρμογές (applications) στην Ελλάδα. Βασικό μήνυμα των βραβείων είναι η παρακίνηση και η επιβράβευση των ταλαντούχων δημιουργών και καινοτόμων εταιριών και οργανισμών στη σύγχρονη τεχνολογική εποχή, ενώ προϋπόθεση δεν αποτελεί οι εφαρμογές να είναι ήδη γνωστές στο καταναλωτικό κοινό, αλλά να είναι καινοτόμες και να διαθέτουν τα στοιχεία αυτά που να τους προσδίδουν προοπτική διάκρισης και διάρκειας στην ελληνική αγορά.
The Ministry of Citizen Protection and the Headquarters of the Hellenic Police, through the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, participated in the event with the CYBERKID application, which was distinguished among applications of major Greek banks, leading insurance companies, telecommunications and network organizations, and recognized private companies that excel in the field of commerce, tourism, communications security, but also online entertainment and educationin Greece.
The CYBERKID application was honored with the "Best Implementation in Social and Economic Development" category, where applications that contribute to social and economic development are awarded, offering solutions for e-health, emergencies and situations requiring humanitarian assistance, as well as in the areas of access to goods and services.
CYBERKID application for smart phones, with iOS - android operating system, was created by the Electronic Crime Intelligence Division to raise awareness and awareness of children aged up to 12 and their parents about Internet security. The goal of the application is to promote positive aspects of the internet, but also to provide information on how to address the challenges of the digital world, as well as adapting to new data.
Parents can visit CYBERKID with their children to have fun and get informed about how to navigate safely. Additionally, the application enables users to communicate instantly and in real time in case of danger or threat with Officers of the Electronic Crime Division through the use of a Cyber Alert (Touchscreen Call) process, but also by sending e-mail message. Officers manage the threat or threat that comes from the Internet through modern procedures and through a Cyber Alert Center, based in the Electronic Crime Division.
