That's it Daily Secret is the daily company of 1.5 million subscriptions, via email newsletter, about life in the city. 40 destinations 'reveal' little secrets to their fanatical public every day – a hidden bar, a restaurant without a sign or a hidden event – helping them discover the unknown sides of the city.
Setting up the company had no particular obstacles, but the biggest one challenge it was that of finding investors. Another difficulty faced by founder of the Daily Secret was the path to extroversion and new markets. More specifically, he wanted to see if the Daily Secret model works with the same enthusiasm in other cities. He started with Istanbul as a second city stop, and found that people, everywhere in the world, have the same needs – to live their everyday life as excitingly as possible.
Currently the company has grown with offices, except of Athens, New York and many other cities. Daily Secret's goal is to be present in as many cities around the world as possible with the immediate future expanding to markets in Africa and Asia.
Mr. Nikos Kakavoulis, founder of Daily Secret said: “Daily Secret tells the story of a new world. A world that does not consist of 2-3 metropolises, but of many, developing and exciting cities - and of people who are proud to live in them. The crisis is a unique opportunity for investment in Greece. "There are a lot of great ideas from young people that deserve the support of investors."
Those who are looking for their next step in their professional future and have an innovative idea that they do not know how to materialize will need guidance from a startup accelerator, presenting their work and taking part in competitions so they have opportunities to distinguish themselves. and learn in detail what opportunities they can chase. The European Union is always present through funding programs (http://ec.europa.eu/easme/sme_en.htm), and there are other international funds that are willing to support their idea.
