Dark Wallet: "Dark Wallet" for anonymity in online transactions

A program named Dark Wallet ("Dark Wallet"), which has as its object the improved of the identity of its users in transactions with bitcoins, is expected to be released soon, according to a report by Wired.

Dark Wallet

As mentioned, the program / application is specifically designed to provide much better protection than existing systems. If Dark Wallet works as it is announced, it is expected to dramatically change the data in the item as it will give new impetus to the Internet's black markets, virtually allowing for the "invisible" online cash flow.

"It's a way of using Bitcoin to refute any attempt to enforce regulations. It's a way of telling the government, "you decided to impose regulations on Bitcoin. If you can, impose regulations on it, "says Condy Wilson, one of the two organizers of the project.

The idea belongs to Wilson and Amir Takaki. It is noted that Condy Wilson had previously been involved in the news through the creation of the first fully 3D printed weapon while Taak is a developer of various projects on the online currency, such as the decentralized DarkMarket. The two of them started a crowdfunding campaign in October in Indiegogo in October, bringing 52.000 dollars - plus extra money in the form of bitcoins. As Wired says in a discussion at the New York City Art Museum in March, Wilson described the Dark Wallet directly as "money laundering software".

"I want a private vehicle for black market transactions," he says, "whether it's for medical ventilators, MDMA for drug addicts, or guns," while arguing that the program is protected by the First Amendment's freedom of expression. Regarding the possibilityτερων» χρήσεων (, contract killings, terrorism), acknowledges that “uh, yes, bad things happen in these markets. Freedom is a dangerous thing."

Essentially what the Dark Wallet does is embed "laundering" capabilities into every payment one makes (οι οποίες καταγράφονται σε ένα «κατάστιχο», ονόματι «blockchain», για να αποφεύγονται απάτες στο του Bitcoin- εάν ένας χρήστης δεν λάβει τα απαραίτητα μέτρα, οι συναλλαγές του μπορεί να οδηγήσουν σε αυτόν).
