The Debian development team released the fourth point release of Debian 9. The new Debian 9.4 includes all the latest patches. So if you have already installed Debian 9 then you do not need to download any of the new ISOs, just update your system.
In their announcement, Debian project he says:
The Debian project is pleased to announce the fourth update of the Debian 9 fixed distribution (codenamed stretch). The point release mainly adds security fixes, along with some tweaks to serious issues. The security patches have already been published separately. ”
Some notable packages that have bug-fixing updates included in this release are: anti-virus clamav, the software cups printing and the debian-installer which comes with a slightly newer kernel. The flatpak package system has also been updated to a newer version.
Security updates also received the following known software packages: Firefox, Thunderbird, Tor, Wireshark, OpenSSL, and Transmission.
