Debian GNU/Linux 11.1 is released about two months after the release of Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” as an update (but also as a live ISO) that includes all the latest and bug fixes from the stable software repositories lately.

Debian GNU / Linux 11.1 comes with 99 updated packages. 75 of them bring various bug fixes and 24 security updates.

The latest major update is also released in ISO images as we mentioned above, which makes it very easy to install the Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” operating system on new machines, as you don't have to hundreds of updates after installation.

The security and bug fixes included in this release are already in the Debian GNU / Linux 11 “Bullseye” repositories, which means that existing installations will only need a simple update.

Users of the Debian GNU / Linux 11 "Bullseye" version do not need to download the ISOs but simply run the command sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade.
