The Debian Project was released today Debian GNU / Linux 11.2 as the second point release of the latest version of the operating system Debian GNU / Linux 11 “Bullseye”.
Debian GNU / Linux 11.2 is released about two months after the release of Debian GNU / Linux 11.1 "Bullseye" as an update (but also as a live ISO) that includes all the latest security updates and bug fixes from the firmware repositories released lately.
Debian GNU / Linux 11.2 comes with 94 updated packages. 64 of them bring various bug fixes and 30 security updates.
The latest big update is also available in ISO images as mentioned above, which makes it very easy to install the Debian GNU / Linux 11 “Bullseye” operating system on new machines, as you do not need to download hundreds of updates after installation.
The security and bug fixes included in this release are already in the Debian GNU / Linux 11 “Bullseye” repositories, which means that existing installations will only need a simple update.
Users of the Debian GNU / Linux 11 "Bullseye" version do not need to download the ISOs but simply run the command sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade.
Live ISO images of Debian GNU / Linux 11.1 are available from the following link
