The Debian Project today announced the availability of Debian GNU/Linux 11.7 as the seventh release in the Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” series.

Debian GNU/Linux 11.7 is here about six months after its release Debian GNU / Linux 11.6 with an updated installation media for those who want to install the latest version of Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” on new computers.
It includes all security and software updates that have been released since September through the Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” software repositories.
In numbers, it includes a total 102 security updates and 92 different bug fixes.
For more details read the new release announcement. In the meantime, if you are already running the Debian GNU/Linux 11 “Bullseye” operating system on your computer, you should simply update with the command sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade in a terminal.
For fresh installations, you will be able to download live ISOs of Debian GNU/Linux 11.7 from the official site, when they go up for good, in the next few hours.
