The developers of the Debian-based Deepin Linux distribution today announced the release of Deepin 25.0.10, a maintenance update of the latest Deepin 25 series.

Deepin 25.0.10 comes with updated kernels, various other enhancements, and bug fixes and security fixes.

The distribution brings kernels 6.6, up to 6.12.65 for those with new hardware. The former is used by default for new installations, although you can easily select the latter from the advanced options in the boot menu.

Deepin 25 also brings an up-to-date installer, which is smarter in creating partitions, so you do not have to create an EFI partition if it already exists on disk. Additionally, the installer now automatically adds swap partitions.

New features

System Interaction and Interface Polish: Optimized interaction details of the taskbar, control center, lock screen, clipboard, etc., enhancing operational accuracy and visual consistency.
Feature Enhancement and Ecosystem Improvement: Added practical functions including the Origin business theme, 98-Wubi input method, AI screenshot, and strengthened multilingual and device compatibility support.
Stability and Security Reinforcement: Fixed various issues related to system startup, file management, DDE, and application operation, while updating graphics drivers and security patches.
