You only need a free Microsoft account to create images from text with the help of Copilot and DALL-E 3. See how.
Microsoft's Copilot is the company's answer to artificial intelligence technology. You can chat with it, tell it to write music, write code and make imaginative images based on your own text typed in your language.
Having DALL-E 3 as a generator, Microsoft Copilot can run without any installation, through your browser and on any operating system you have. All you need is any browser and a free Microsoft account.
See how you can "play" with the Copilot Designer step by step.
Beyond the browser, Copilot is now also available as an Android and iOS app that offers the same experience.
How to use Copilot to create images
step 1 : Open a browser and enter the page https://copilot.microsoft.com. You don't need to install anything, you don't even need to have Windows.
step 2 : If you have a Microsoft account now is the time to sign in. Otherwise, you will be connected to the next step, but everything you do from here on out will have to be repeated. On the left of the screen select “Designer”.
step 3 : In the dialogue box below labeled as “Ask me anything” write your prompt in Greek. Example: "show me an ostrich playing poker with a smurf".
Copilot will process your request, and after a while you will have the answer.
But you won't see it if you haven't logged in to Microsoft. If not, you'll be forced to do now and have to reissue your prompt from the beginning.
If so, Copilot's Designer will create 4 versions of the image.
If you are happy with the results, you can click on any image and download it in jpg format and 1024 x 1024 pixels resolution.
In the free version there are limits as you understand, such as 30 photos per day (although this number is constantly changing) or you cannot request a redesign of your prompt. Alternatively you can always download and install Copilot.
