The 3o Greek Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation (3nd Hellenic Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation) organizes the National Center for Research in Natural Sciences (NCSR) "Demokritos" from June 29 to July 3, 2015, at its Conference Center, in Agia Paraskevi, Attica.
The Forum offers an update on current scientific developments, highlights the development dimension of the three-tier Research-Technology-Innovation, and offers networking opportunities.
For five days, NCSR "Demokritos" gives a step to distinguished scientists and business executives, to present the latest scientific developments in areas that affect the daily lives of all of us - such as health, nutrition, medicine, safety, environment, energy, information technology - and set out development prospects based on innovative research results.
The aim is to increase the synergies between Research Centers and industry, as well as to further strengthen the collaborations of the Greek scientific community with Greek scientists from the Diaspora.
The official launch of the Forum will take place on Monday, June 29, from 09: 00 to 11: 00, with the presence of institutional representatives and the participation of three distinguished speakers who will undertake to highlight the triptych on which the idea is based.
The program then includes workshops, specialized workshops, seminar classes and round table discussions.
Pioneering discoveries in Nuclear and Particle Physics will be presented as a result of complex theoretical and experimental processes that pave the way for great technological innovations, with practical applications in other sciences as well as in industry.
During the conference, 23 workshops and more will take place 150 distinguished scientists, in the fields of nanotechnology, energy-environment, life sciences, IT-telecommunication, as well as accelerator technologies with a contribution to society.
