The company DJI which manufactures drone and the company Canonical which distributes Linux Ubuntu, today unveiled the Manifold, a small computer that will be built into a drone that will host applications for it.
The manifold fits only to Matrice 100 of the DJI platform, so do not wait for plans to customize it to your own drone. The 100 Matrix is essentially one test model by DJI, at a cost of $3.300,00 with the option transporthardware, such as Manifold and customizable sensors.
Inside the Manifold is a quad-core ARM Cortex A-15 processor and a card graphics NVIDIA Kepler-based.

Considering the partnership with Canonical, it is no surprise that the computer will run Ubuntu.
