Try Microsoft Edge multitasking

Multitasking, or “Workspace Sharing” is a testing feature of Microsoft Edge and is available for anyone who wants to try it out.

edge multitasking

According Microsoft's announcement the company opened in of Edge the Share Workspace (Public Preview) albeit in the limited format of 5 users per session.

You can join multitasking and be one of the first to try it in Edge. With this feature you can have up to 5 people see the same Edge window which will contain as many tabs as you want. Every move made by one of the five will be seen by all the others.

Functionally we think it's very good with a bunch of apps. Let's say you design one d. We all know how much it can involve: accommodation, transport, things to do, where to eat. All of this can be made much easier if you create with Edge a window dedicated to your trip, with a set of tabs for everyone to see at the same time in real time.

Browse the web together
So you can create a single, shared view of web pages in a single browser window, with real-time updates. For that trip you're planning, you can invite your group members to view the same pages, share flights, accommodation options, and even create a shared document to collaborate on activities and travel plans.

Of course, when it comes to shared browsing, your privacy and security are also top of mind. Each user will only see to which it has access. Additionally, you can only access Edge workspaces if you're signed in to a Microsoft account.

As it states, Edge will not share your browser or confidential account data, such as logins, cookies, and passwords, with anyone else who has access.

How do you get access?
You will need to sign in to your Microsoft account using Microsoft Edge version 111.0.1661.51 (or later). If you don't already have a Microsoft account, you'll need to create one to get started.

Then you can access multitasking from here.

You will receive 5 invitations to send to friends and family to join . As Microsoft is starting with a limited preview, it will be subject to availability.

Our test on iGuru was successful and we did not find any problem.
