Trump Media & Technology Group has unveiled a paid, licensed data feed that will give banks and trading firms “faster” access to posts from prominent Truth Social accounts, such as President Donald Trump, whose posts often influence global markets.
The product, called the “Truth API,” will deliver posts from the 10 most important accounts to customers at a significantly faster rate than a typical push notification on Truth Social’s platform, a spokesperson said.
The data feed is designed for organizations “most impacted by the cost of information delay,” such as algorithmic trading firms, the company said in a statement.
“Until now… companies that prioritize monitoring important posts from Truth have relied on manual monitoring. The Truth API fills the gap.”
“Markets are already moving with Truth Social posts… As adoption increases, we expect the Truth API to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company,” said the interim CEO of TMTG, Kevin McGurn.
Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
