The comics platform Comixology, belonging to Amazon, offers a wide variety of Black comics for free Panther of Marvel, at least for this weekend.
The unannounced free offer was noticed by tweeters and Redditors, without Comixology or Amazon making any announcement. Many Marvel comics related to the fantastic African country of Wakanda, where the hero Black Panther is located, are available for free.
The free offer comes a week after the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played King T'Challa in 2018's Black Panther, as well as other Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Boseman suffered from colon cancer, battled the disease for four years and sadly passed away on August 28, 2020.
Marvel became a member of the Comixology Unlimited subscription service in 2017, giving its subscribers access to some of the biggest comics in its history. Members pay $ 5,99 a month for unlimited access to over 25.000 titles provided by Comixology, from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and other freelance publishers.
