Just yesterday, it was reported that Instagram had corrected a crucial critical vulnerability in the API that allowed the attacker to access telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for verified high profile accounts.

The Instagram hacker launched the Doxagram service as a search service for Instagram, where anyone can search for stolen information to 10 dollars per account.
The news comes three days after Selena Gomez's Instagram account was leaked. Selena Gomez has more than 125 million friends, and the leaked data includes nude photos of Justin Bieber's ex-boyfriend.
However, Instagram did not confirm whether the recent data breach relates to the leakage of Selena Gomez's account.
The company had already notified all verified users of the service by e-mail and encouraged them to be careful if they received any suspicious or unrecognized phone call, text message, or e-mail.
With e-mail addresses and phone numbers running freely on the internet, the next step of hackers could have been to use this information in conjunction with social engineering techniques to get more information, even in other services.
Instagram users should immediately use two-factor authentication on their accounts, combined with a strong password access.
