At droidcon conferences we have the opportunity to hear about all the latest developments in the android ecosystem directly from the Top programmers working in large and important companies in various countries. After last year's successful event which hosted over 35 Android Experts from the USA, Russia, Turkey, India, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Germany, France and Belgium, droidcon Greece 2016 is hosted again this year at the Science Dissemination Center & NOESIS Museum of Technology, thus sealing the collaboration and consolidating the event as the annual technological event exclusively around Android in Greece.

- 7-9 July from 14: 00 to 21: 00 on the first day and all other days of the event from 09: 00 to 21: 00 | droidcon International Expo | free admission, open to the general public
At the international fair, visitors can see all of the latest software and product releases, as well as try out gadgets and original technologies that will be introduced to the market. The droidcon organizers chose free admission to the public, giving them the opportunity to see and experience new products, services, innovative technologies and applications during the show.
- 7-9 July from 14: 00 on the first day until 21: 00 and all other days of the event from 09: 00 to 21: 00 | droidcon Devs Alley | free entrance for visitors, while for interviewees free entrance with pre-requisite registration
At droidcon Devs Alley, developers, engineers, innovators, architects / graphic designers, ITs and anyone interested in getting to know the trends and directions of HR (Human Resources) related technology companies will have the opportunity to learn about available jobs and set up interviews with exhibitors and special guests looking for executives to strengthen their team. At droidcon Devs Alley we will have a special workshop and modules focused on HR, from "How to successfully build your resume in the field of technology" to "What technology companies will be looking for in the coming years", the workshop will be hosted by leading for recruits and talent hunters, as well as experienced developers who will share their experiences with the public.
- 7-9 July from 14: 00 on the first day until 21: 00 and all other days of the event from 09: 00 to 21: 00 | droidcon Startup Village | free entrance for guests. At droidcon Startup Village, entrepreneurs will present demos / projects / established ideas to the general public in their specially designed zone. This special zone will look like an interactive sandbox, where entrepreneurs, startupers will have the opportunity to sell or share their ideas, services, projects to droidcon visitors and the general public. A series of workshops and sessions will be hosted by international and local VC investors, who will share their stories and adventures and advise audiences and startuppers on how to design their business idea and how to market it.
- 7 July @ 19: 00 | droidcon kick-off barcamp | entry is secured with the droidcon ticket or the barcamp only ticket. Free entry for selected speakers.
At the droidcon kick-off barcamp, selected speakers and pioneers who will be there will be selected by the droidcon participants to share with all their achievements, experiences, or a project that works on it.
- 8-9 July, from 08: 00 to 21: 00 | droidcon main stage | different tickets available.
In the main stage of droidcon, we will host special invited and exclusive keynote speakers, who will come from all over the world to share their personal achievements or the company they represent in the Android ecosystem. The speakers are top developers who "created" new or "implemented" existing applications and successfully offered solutions through the Android OS and related tools. They usually come from international companies such as: Google, Microsoft, Couchbase, Qualcomm, Intel, only this year we will welcome international champions on the main stage.
droidcon Greece 2016: This year's droidcon holds many surprises, from top renowned keynote speakers welcoming the launch of droidcon # 2 in Thessaloniki, to internationally renowned exhibitors showcasing the most innovative products and gadgets using the Android operating system and more: This year, in collaboration with Google Developers Group Thessaloniki, droidcon will host "Google I / O Recall".
Google I / O is Google's annual top event, where the company shows which areas of technology it will invest in, while also announcing the latest updates and developments on Android, Material Design, Virtual Reality and all tools that could help a business or developer enhance his / her business.
Twenty-five speakers have already confirmed their arrival on the stage of droidcon Greece 2016, while the call for papers is still open. The first three speakers revealed by the organizers are: Ikram KELLA Program Leader Google Women Techmakers for North Africa, Sergio Gutierrez, Senior Software Engineer at the Spanish company Karumi, Daniel Hartwich, Android Developer in the German company XING AG.
