MIT, in collaboration with Microsoft, has created a new touch interface, the DuoSkin, που επιτρέπει σε προσωρινά τατουάζ για να αλληλεπιδρούν με smartphones ή υπολογιστές, στην έξοδο της οθόνης με base body temperature changes.
The temporary tattoo even allows transmission data using NFC.
Cindy Hsin-Liu Kao, a doctoral student at MIT, reports that tattoos are not only fashionable, but also a fairly inexpensive way "to change your appearance whenever you want." THE team of DuoSkin wanted to achieve the same by offering an affordable technology with an attractive trend.
DuoSkin tattoos are available in one of three different categories:
An input class that turns your skin into trackpad.
An output class that can change color based on skin temperature.
and a communication device that allows you to get data from the tattoo.
Each form uses a gold leaf to create a durable and aesthetically pleasing temporary tattoo. From there, researchers create a circuit using a graphics software. Each tattoo can also contain an NFC chip, a thermochromic layer, or even LED lights.
Kao reports that DuoSkin provides a number of connectivity alternatives for even the most "cumbersome" pieces of technology - such as a SmartWatch.
