Microsoft today released Microsoft Edge for Android. Google's device users who want to try Edge for Android can download and install the dev version from Google Play.
Microsoft Edge Canary for Android is compatible with Android 5.0 and later. Based on the latest version of Chromium.

The mobile browser displays prompts during the first boot. The most important thing to note is a data collection prompt that is not selected by default, but also a choice to add a Microsoft account for synchronization.
The browser opens the tab page by default. Contains some links to popular destinations, e.g. Wikipedia, Facebook, BBC and Amazon, and a search box to perform searches on Bing.
The design is different from that of Chromium and Google Chrome. Edge displays an account icon in the upper left corner and the option to customize the new tab in the upper right corner.
Microsoft Edge Canary is the first step in launching the new browser on Google's Android platform. Microsoft has not revealed when it plans to release the first stable version for Android.
