Microsoft released today Microsoft Edge for Android. Google OS device users who want to try Edge for Android can download and install the dev version from Google Play.
Microsoft Edge Canary for Android is compatible with Android 5.0 and later. Based on the latest version of Chromium.

The browser opens the tab page by default. Contains some links to popular destinations, e.g. Wikipedia, Facebook, BBC and Amazon, and a search box to perform searches on Bing.
The design is different from that of Chromium and Google Chrome. Edge displays one icon account in the upper left corner and the option to customize the new tab in the upper right corner.
