Edge has just been released for Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS

Microsoft released Edge for Windows, as we mentioned earlier today. The company said it wants to make Windows 10 users feel familiar despite the release of a new browser.

So some features have been transferred from the original version of Edge to the new Chromium-based application.

Support for Google Chrome extensions is a key feature of the new browser. In addition, Microsoft has created its own store for Edge extensions, where users can find trusted add-ons.

Microsoft will continue to update all Edge development channels. Canary build will receive updates every day, Dev version every week, and Beta builds will have a new version every six weeks.

You can download Microsoft Edge based on Chromium for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and macOS from the link below.
