ECB: Workshop on Research, Technological Development and Innovation evaluations in Greece

ECT: Information session entitled "Awareness and capacity building regarding evaluations in the area of ​​Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTD) in Greece", organized by the Center for Studies and Education in Finance (KEMEX) of the Department of Economic Sciences (TOE) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), in with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GGET). on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Athens, at the Kostis Palamas Building (48 Akadimias and Sina).

Στόχος της ημερίδας είναι η προβολή του έργου “EVAL- INNO: Fostering evaluation competences in research, and in the SEE region” and its deliverables in Greece, as well as to initiate a constructive dialogue on the current situation, but also the future of ETAK evaluations in Greece.

Within the framework of the territorial co for Southeast Europe, the Center for Financial Studies and Education (KEMEX) of the University of Athens participates in the project “EVAL-INNO. The aim of the project is to raise awareness and develop capacities regarding evaluations in the area of ​​research, technological development and innovation (RTD) in the region of Southeast Europe. Agencies from 6 countries participate in the project: Austria (coordinator), Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Montenegro.

Within the framework of the project, among others, “evaluation standards” have been issued in the Greek language, training weeks have been organized for evaluators and Ministry officials in 4 countries of the region (Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Montenegro), an electronic platform has been built and is in operation for RTD ratings in SE Europe (http://www.eval-inno.eu/), a study on public procurement for RTD ratings in SE Europe has been completed and a pilot benchmarking of 6 RTD organizations (one from each country).

In addition to the staff of the GSRT, which is the main contracting authority for RTD evaluations, executives and other public bodies involved in ERTK evaluations as contracting authorities (ESA Competitiveness Competitiveness etc.), and in particular the community of RTK evaluators in Greece (Universities, Executives of Consulting Companies).

The Conclusions of the Workshop. where all stakeholders will participate in RTK evaluations in Greece. could mark a GSRT roadmap for initiatives in this area.
