The new elementary OS 0.4 Loki Beta, just announced. The new version is based on the newest functional system of Canonical Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial Xerus, which means it brings most of the core components and technologies, such as the Linux 4.4 LTS kernel, GTK+ 3.18, and Vala 0.32.
Please note that it is not recommended to install the first beta of elementary OS 0.4 Loki on computers you use for your work, as the operating system is still under development and it is natural to have bugs. But you can try the operating system with Live ISO provided by developers.
The new feature is currently only available in a x64 bit image. The final version of the elementary OS 0.4 Loki is expected to be released in the coming months.
