Electrek he says:
On Monday, ADMIE Reported that renewables accounted for 100% of Greece's electricity generation for at least five hours, reaching a record high of 3.106 megawatt hours at 08:00 GMT:
"For the first time in the history of the Greek electricity system, the demand was covered 100% by renewable energy sources. With the interconnections implemented by ADMIE on land and sea, a new electrical capacity is created for an even greater penetration of [Renewable Energy Sources] that will make our energy mix even greener in the coming years."
Reuters he says:
"Greece aims to attract around €30 billion in European capital and private investment to upgrade its electricity grid and more than double green energy capacity to account for at least 70% of its energy mix by 2030."
"It plans to have installed renewable energy units capable of producing 25 gigawatts of the roughly 10 gigawatts it has now." But there are analysts who say that Athens may achieve this goal sooner.
