The Software Freedom Day was celebrated on September 19 around the world.
Freedom day software is an initiative started in 2004 and organized every year by Software Freedom Day http://www.softwarefreedomday.org and aims at informing and raising public awareness of the benefits of Free Software and Open Source Software.
Last Saturday, dozens of groups and communities from 90 countries του πλανήτη, ανάμεσα στις οποίες και η Ελλάδα, ένωσαν τις φωνές τους, για να γιορτάσουν το ελεύθερο λογισμικό, ενημερώνοντας για τα οφέλη χρήσης του στην εκπαίδευση, στο home, at businesses.
In Greece, the Freedom of Software Day will be celebrated on 22 September 2015 Tuesday at the Research Laboratory of TEI of Western Macedonia in Kastoria by the Kastoria Linux Society and IEEE SB of the TEI of Western Macedonia.
